My husband, Gary,  and I wanted a simple celebration for just the two of us for our 50th anniversary in our favorite place, Kauai.  After doing some research on the web, I contacted Jessica Frabotta of Alii Kauai Weddings to see if she could help us set this up.  Jessica provided ceremony ideas and a list of people who could be part of the event.  Our only task was to chose an officiant and and photographer, and Jessica did all the work of making the ceremony just right.  The day of our ceremony, Katie, our coordinator, was waiting for us at Shipwreck Beach with everything ready.  The ceremony on the beach with Kahu Cliff  was so beautiful and joyful.  And Naomi Wong, our photographer, spent time during the ceremony and afterwards taking some wonderful photos.  Our vow renewal was really the perfect celebration for us, and we are grateful to Jessica, Hailey, Katie, Kahu Cliff and Naomi for making it so special.

Gary and I have talked so much about how much we loved our vow renewal.  The sweetness of the event emphasized our gratitude for the life we have had together.  And the energy created by that ceremony was also the start of a fantastic day where we had so many nice things happen to us.  I guess that is what is going to happen when you walk around a hotel with big smiles, leis and a bouquet!
